Was not expecting oscar winning plot, but please.

I love Will Ferrell and went to this movie hoping for some good laughs. I am partial to gutter style humor and gags that appeal to 12 year old boys, so it is not like my standards are impossibly high. I did laugh out loud a few times - especially with the running joke where an asian servant is forced to speak like Aunt Jemimah because it reminds her bigoted boss of "the good old days." I just came away feeling like the writers had blown it. The actors were good enough - there just wasn't enough funny material.
