Amazing friendship between two opposites

From the start of the movie to the end there was a development of character and friendship that is rarely seen in films. The white elegant refined handicapped man be cared for by the rough crude selfish black man. As one learned to loosen up and find his crazy side the other developed compassion and kindness. Either would give their lives for the other.
The subtitles never got in the way of the meaning of the film.
