Absolutely LOVED this movie. Best I've seen in a long time. Not too long and kept my attention the whole time.

Get past the politics

If you can get past the politics, this is a great movie. I didn't pick up on it, I just enjoyed the amazing graphics and beautiful scenery but my husband and some other very verbal movie goers were not happy with the political analogies. "Fight terror with terror" and shock and awe tactics. Plot is apparently similar to our war in Afghanistan/Iraq. Devestating another country/planet for it's resources, killing defenseless woman and children, not being in tune with our planet....
But again, I just enjoyed the movie as a movie and not a political statement. If you can do that you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. Maybe one of the most visually captivating movies I have ever seen.

Great but...

Great movie but there are a lot of differences from the book. Still thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt like I was there for only 30 minutes.
