I loved being able to see this movie on the big screen. It has always been one of my favorites. I loved Gene Kelly's charisma on the screen and his dancing is unbelievable. Donald O'Connor was hilarious and what a fantastic, athletic dancer. Debbie Reynolds was sweet and did a fantastic job. I appreciated the interview they had with her (filmed) before the movie. I did not realize she didn't know how to dance previously and she was only 18. I like getting behind the scenes information on a movie. You appreciate the work they do. Loved the vibrant colors and beauty in the dance scenes. Make them Laugh and Singin' in the Rain were probably my favorite song and dance numbers because it looked like they were having fun.
Thank you to TCM for bringing this out and Fathom for getting the word out. I want to bring more family members!
