I am, and always have been, a huge spider-man fan. I have watched all (now) four movies and have watched them progressively get worse. I had really high hopes for this movie because it really does stay very close to the comics... but the comic they passed out to all the movie patrons was more interesting and had more action than this movie. If you like long back stories (which is not needed for spider-man... practically everyone knows who he got his powers) and an unconvincing love story... then you will like this movie; but if you actually enjoy action and a good plot... go see the Avengers or go rent the Dark Knight.
