This movie is on many lists as one of the best movies ever made and I agree. It ranks up there with Citizen Kane and Casablanca when it comes to a perfect movie. Great direction, dancing and a clever story about the transition from silent moves to early talkies make this a must see for anyone interested in film histroy. My cudos to Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly for their hard work and artistic ingenuity. Excellent performances by Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O'Connor and Jean Hagen as the silent star with "the voice".
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, great donald o'connor
