My eleven year old son and I went to see Abraham Lincoln last night. I am a huge Tim Burton fan and have seen every vampire movie on the planet. I was very excited to see this film and have to say I was not dissapointed. It was a very good balance of history action story telling and gore. I thought the acting was pretty good as well. It did not rank quite as high in marks in some areas as others. For example the horse scene, the horses look like cartoons,kinda silly. There were a few other hokey parts.Not what you would expect from Burton. My son loved it,he gave the movie a 4.5 overall. He loved all the action and the vampires were a little creepy and brutal. (boys like that stuff). I gave it 3.5 that is why we agreed on 4.0 overall this movie is a must see if you love vampire flicks like we do. If you like action I think you will not be disappointed.
