I have 6 yr old twins and a 10 yr old. This movie was really scary for them.

I would not recommend to any parent who is concerned with violence. It also touches on some mother child issues that are scary as well. The main character almost loses her mother. I am 44 years old and was crying badly due to the fact that I lost my mom and issues were close to the heart for me. My children went through the process of seeing me lose my mom and it scares them to think about losing me. This movie had my 10 yr old crying in my arms when we got home because he was scared of losing me.. NOT GOOD IN MY OPINION. Not to mention the fighting and the scary bear and the weapons. Disney should have rated this movie differently PG13 more appropriate
No, I do not recommend this movie.
