We saw this movie in 2d, not 3D. It was shot specifically for 3D. The camera work and art would definitely be better in 3D. However, the script the actors had to use would not have been better. The acting would not have been better. And, the costume choices would not have been better. I was bored before Oz leaves for Oz. It was slow, poorly written, and poorly portrayed. We were a very disappointed family.
The one positive I found was the little girl. I do not want to spoil it if others still wish to see this movie. But, the little girl's design and character was excellent!
