Told myself I had to be there to see this opening day... and indeed I kept my word. It was amazing, but that was to be expected. It's not just some movie about two loser dudes sitting around smoking all day, it's story line cannot be matched OR topped. Go see it.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, aaron johnson
Cons just a little slow

I'm not one for vampire movies (ever since the Twilight saga ruined them forever) but I was really blown away by AL-VH. When I saw the poster and trailer a few months ago I thought it was going to be awful, but I was very wrong. The effects/artwork and scenery shots were AMAZING! I was sad that the ending wasn't the same as in the book, cause that ending was fantastic, but it was a good ending nonetheless. Go see it, and punch everyone in the face who complains about it's "historical inaccuracy"... it's a movie about vampires, shut up. :)

I couldn't think of a better title...
However, I just got out of SWATH, and it wasn't bad. Not amazing, but not bad. The costumes and scenery were what kept my attention mostly. The acting... eh, it was okay. K-stew just doesn't do it for me, so watching her try to be all innocent yet powerful was weird. Charlize played a damn good evil queen though. The movie had some slow parts and should have been a little shorter, but it's a timeless classic that was done not too shabby for the 21st century.
