Using Native Americans was very important and smart. Educational: good job, the world needs to know traditional/current ways. It was a nice mix showing prejudice against Natives, rebound of Native Culture and Native tenacity. It held a simple honesty. This was also a feel-good film, with humor and it touched me emotionally and touched my heart which had me laughing and feeling. It was a great "B" movie, and that is a compliment because those "A" movies with violence, sex, special effects get boring quickly, lack depth, lack a message. This should be an "A" movie quickly, if people can get rid of their need for shallowness. I was upset that an advertisement for the movie said zero about Native American culture. That should be a big part of the ads. Great shot when the white girl asks since when did Native Americans start playing Lacrosse. There was a clear distinction showing the inner quiet and patience, honesty and depth of the American Indian. Good movie, like to see more depiction of Native Americans on all levels, all angles, all showing honest viewpoints.
