The first thing I noticed was just how the entire intro seemed to be about promoting the Navy. I'm a Navy man myself and support the military but not during a movie. The entire first 20 minutes was worthless and no point minus a small burritto joke at the end of the movie. The graphics were great, good action and special affects but the plot was seriously lacking. Another great point, at no time did the Aliens declare war on the US. Infact thorought the entire movie their actions were stricktly reactive to them being attacked first. The only aggressive action I saw was the taking out of the highways. There was no clear direction from the aliens side of things and overall the movie just felt very sloppy.
