Mobile Ya crowd and myself went to see Spider man. I must say it is a great way to spend the evening and your money is not wasted. There was a lot of action but the anticipation was can Andrew Garfield who plays Spiderman live up to Peter Parker played by Toby Mcquire in previous Spiderman movies? Yes. Is this Spider man as good as the others? Yes.
I must admit at first I thought the movie was a rerun and was beginning to feel disappointed because it starts from the beginning of how Peter Parker became Spiderman and was a little slow and not much different than the old Spiderman movies. Andrew seem to be struggling at the beginning of the movie with his acting skills but after a while things picked up and moved as expected. The movie was really good and Andrew passed the test which was a difficult one. Congrats. He had help from his girl friend Gwen played very very well by Emma Stone who was a step up from the old Spider man girlfriend. Captain Stacy played by Denis Leary is a veteran favorite actor. He is Gwen's father and police captain. Dr. Conners (Rhys Ifans) became an evil giant scary out of control Lizard. He was fantastic and liven up the movie. He and Spider man open a can of whoop butt and the best fight scenes I've seen in a while. If you love special effects like I do, then you will love the movie. My teenagers gave the movie a 6 because the the first start seem the same as the old Spider man and a little slow and long. The 3D saved the day for them. Now the preliminaries are out of the way we await the next Spider man with fresh adventures.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

Excellent Movie- Laugh all the way through the credits
An accountant George played by Eugene Levy (Bringing the house down) worked for the mob and was set up to take a legal fall. Then the mob decided to off him because they thought he was telling on them. They sent him a dead rat. He and his reluctant family joined the Federal Witness Protection Program and was sent to Atlanta. The family was assigned to live with Madea (Tyler Perry) in an all black neighborhood. Doris Roberts played Barbara the forgetful mother of George. Doris could possibly have been a past lover of Madea's brother asnd George his child, which was hilarious because no one really ever knew if they both were deranged or if that was a real possibility. Romeo played Jake, the young son of a retiring preacher. Jake and George team with Madea to get the stolen money back. Romeo has matured and is a professional actor. He is a favorite among Mobile YA's crowd. Doris Roberts plays her part beautifully as does Eugene Levy. The casting was perfect. It was so funny because there were great lines and acting. There was an instance when the audience applauded; when Madea went into the bank and added another account-hers. When the movie was over no one moved. Everyone watched the credits.Even the credits were funny, especially when Madea start packing expensive hotel towels and guest items to take home. This movie rocks. Be prepared to laugh all the way through the whole theatre audience did. Mobile YA rates 8.0
Devan Leos plays Howie, George Son. He is a child actor and we wish him success. Good job. Denise Richardson, a favorite was George's wife. She played humor well. Danielle Campbell played Cindy. the daughter of George. She has issues and her and Madea gets to bottom of them. Good job. Hats off to Tyler Perry for playing the lawyer, Madea's aging brother and producer. Tyler Perry was in character Great Job.
Mobile Ya crowd consisted of 6 teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18, and two 21 year old, a ten year old and myself. We laughed all the way through the picture. There were a couple of stereotype moments that were overdone but it was comedy. It is a landmark picture in the way it handles race in the South in modern times with the flavor of comedy. Blacks in the South are use to having Whites in their homes and not in the way it is mostly portrayed in other movies. Only Tyler Perry had the juice to produce this. I think that if movie goers can enjoy the movie "The Help" then movie goers should be open to look at this picture as well. It is light hearted and entertaining. It is a great Tyler Perry Production
The movie was about Tom Hiddleston who plays Loki (who everyone thought died in the movie Thor) wanting to take over the world by any means necessary and all the superheros banning together (from a space ship) to stop him. This movie sold out everywhere. Get your tickets early.
This move had three hand applause from the audience and a standing ovation at the end. My kind of crowd. Bruce Banner who plays The Hulk, kicked it off when they asked him to get angry to help the rest of the Avengers fight what seemed like a losing battle and he replied "That's my secret, I am angry all the time." he turned into the Hulk and kicked butt. The second time was when the Hulk and Loki were face to face and Loki warned him that he was a God. The Hulk wiped the floor with his butt. The audience loved it. The third time came when The Hulk and Chris Hemsworth, who plays the unforgettable Thor, kicked butt together and as they stood in Victory, the Hulk knocked Thor out of the picture as if he just noticed him being around. It was crazy stupid. Thor did not disappoint his fans.
Iron man played by Robert Downey Jr. was hilarious as always. Hts off to the Black Widow, Samuel Jackson (supervisor) and the Eagle Eye Man as well.
