I am in love with this movie. Do you know how when you see a trailer it gets you excited to see the movie? Ot it's intended to. And for the most part most trailers are really good at doing that, but when you go to see the actual movie the excitement you felt watching the trailer does not match the full length picture in the end? Well Now You See me absolutely kept me captivated and excited throughout. It's such a fun unique story that is half film half magic show. The cast was superb. The writing was superb. EVERYTHING was superb. I highly reccomend this film in theatre. Go buy your tickets. Right now. What are you waiting for?
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

First off let me say I enjoy silly movies like the Hangover and it's subsequent sequels and I don't expect much out of them that other people might, least of all brilliant art direction, writing, or plot. However I do expect lots of laughs and I unfortunately did not find myself laughing out loud a whole lot. In fact, its predecessors did a better job at that (except for the usual after the credits bonus feature - which had me and the rest of my fellow audience members cracking up). While I didn't find this sequel terrible, I found it unnecessary in it's plot. It felt like it was written as a "we need something to round out the film" script. That the story came after the decision to make a third, not the other way around, which I feel is always the worst way to begin any sequel. If you have a story to tell, THEN you make another film, otherwise you're bleeding dry a franchise that stood well before this.
All of that said, The Hangover Part III was not a terrible movie. It was entertaining and it allowed us one last chance to see our favorite characters in action, even gave us a glimpse back at some old favorites and a new one (Hello, Melissa Mccarthy.) It just wasn't as good as the first two. I would recommend this movie, however it wouldn't be a total loss to catch it on DVD.
Pros loveable characters
Cons forced script
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Let me start this off by saying I did not watch the cartoon growing up, nor did I see the first G! JOE movie, but I did go with someone who did. That person went in skeptical and unenthusiastic but came out loving it! As did I. Whether you're a GI JOE fan or not you can go into this movie expecting a great action flick with fantastic characters and a storyline to keep you interested. While the primary plot focuses on Cobra Commander's retaliation (yes, that's where the name comes from) and world domination scheme, you're provided glimpses into the world of the JOEs that gets you better connected to the characters and why they do what they do in a way that's not so overwhelming that it takes you out of the original plot. It also leaves room for a sequel, which I personally hope happens if the script is as well written and director Jon Chu is back holding the reins. With humor, action, and heart. GI JOE: Retaliation revives the franchise from the much disregarded predecessor. So whether you're a fan of GI JOE, just an average action hero buff, or admire one or several of the actors in the film (by its end you'll love them all) please do yourself a favor and go see. GI JOE: Retaliation!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The horror/thriller genre sees a lot of blood and gore, cheap scares, and while even B rated horror movies have a home with audiences, it's movies like this that stand out among the rest. With a Hitchcock feel, HATES brings you on a believable journey into every day life, when you're living next door to a potential murderer that is. With a solid script, great actors, and a director who wants to tell you a story and not just throw things at the screen with loud music to back it up, the audience is treated to a much needed mental thrill in a world full of mindless scares.
Pros well paced, great story
Yes, I recommend this movie.
