Superb Gangster Film

Johnny Depp brings Dillinger to life in Michael Mann's latest. He once again shows why he's one of the greatest actors going today. Great acting from all the cast, C Bale's portrayal of a controlled, focused, yet ill equiped FBI agent and Marion Cotillard as Billie was wonderful and she brought the emotional impact the film needs.
I loved this film. Is it perfect? No, it could have gone in a variety of directions in terms of script content, etc. Is it factual? About as factual as Hollywood gets without it being a documentary. It's beautiful in its look, costumes, settings. The shoot outs, bank robberies and prison breaks are exciting. Go and enjoy!
