i have read these books many times. when i went to see this movie i was unaware that they were making a trilogy out of it. that took me bysuprise. the movie was awsome. they added 6 major scenes not in book, and none disappoint. it was a very quick three hours. it is a little scarier than the book. kids may find orcs a little frigtening (there were none in book). there is somewhat of an ending, but it only makes you want to see next installment. GREAT OVER THE TOP ADAPTION.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
