The time shifting is a bit confusing at first, but the movie builds to a suspenseful climax and the denouement is interesting, but fairly easy to guess. The acting is first rate, both with the younger and older actors playing the same characters. As World War II fades into the past, we must not lose sight of the atrocities of the Nazi's and this movie is a reminder of that time.
The acting was good and although the plot a bit far fetched, it was an entertaining movie. Jamie Foxx does his usual good job and Gerard Butler was outstanding.
The action moved at a frantic pace and made for an enjoyable afternoon. Nothing deep and the easily infiltrated "impenetrable" government fortress was in keeping with the other unbelievable events in the movie.
The explanations for what the bank is doing is confusing and never adequately explained. Unlike most action drama films, this one had no humor which made it seem longer than it really was.
Movie was entertaining from beginning to end, although the situations that Liam Neeson manages to extract himself from were over the top. The cartoon level of violence reminds me of the Die Hard movies, if you like action, you should like this movie.
