If you're into the Marvel / Sheild superhero thing you will enjoy this. Side benefit is that it brushes you up on some Norse mythology. Best of all, it's 2 hours of a decent story, good actors, and a fun action scene with very very good special effects and sophisticated virtual landscapes. A good time at the cinema.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
