Yes, they changed the story. However Andrew Garfield is way better than Toby Maguire. the story line had a great tone and presence in who the comic spiderman is which is very tongue and cheek. Weel Done!!!

Nice prequel

It was great to see how the Wolverine and Sabretooth came to be. While some of the story line strayed away from the comic version, it was very well orchestrated and presented by Liev Shreiber and Hugh Jackman. Having seen all the Marvel movies, it was an enjoyable ride.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
