I hated this movie!!! I was completely unaware of the storeyline so to say that I was blomdsided bu this movie is.an understatement. It is sickening that a storey about kids forced to kill other kids in order to survive an annual event for entertainment to the capital is unbelievable.
The emotional anguish everyone endures is heart breaking.
In addition, our society is raving about kids slaughtering other kids and love it. What does that say about the level of desensitivity our society is at! I find it frightening.
