I missed this Dr. Seuss Book, but as always he was ahead of his time. Preserving nature and the trees is so much part of what we are allowing to ignor these days, as wild life get banished to highway road kill.
The cartoon was enjoyable, the imagary was amazing, esp. the 3-D. Devito remains an unbelievable advocate of the woodlands, yet the surrounding characters make his efforts believable and supportive. Overall a good, wholesome family film.
