As a rule, I don't like bio-pics where mere mortal actors try to portray the rare immortal ones. But this effort was better than I expected. The supporting cast, the direction, the look of the film, the writing... they all came together to support the main role and make this a worthwhile endeavor. I can recommend this movie without reservation.

Strong performances from the leads as well as from the exceptional supporting cast. Great cinematography, music and production values. A class-A bit of filmmaking. It keeps your interest from beginning to end.

This was a lightweight, fun movie. Well worth an evening if you like a mix of comedy, raunch, romance and just enough story to make it hang together.

Great fun. We throughly enjoyed this film. In the old Hollywood tradition. A joy to watch the actors and the locations (beautifully photographed!)
