I watched the first 3 alone with the lights on, and had to sleep with the light on. I had no less of an expectation watching it in the dark on a screen several times my height. the movie was an hour and 35 minutes long, and only the last 10 were scary. And I'm being generous, here. It was funny, and it had a few moments of, "Oh, look, something's moving!" Which was followed by, "Wait for it, wait for it...oh, nothing happened." Sure, there were a couple of jumps here and there, but all in all, it seemed to try and set the storyline up for the first hour and 25 minutes, then scare you at the end. I was majorly let down by this movie. I didn't even have one nightmare last night. Which is odd, considering I have nightmares pretty frequently. I spent extra money to see this in IMAX. I immediately told my friend that couldn't make it to wait for it to come out on Redbox or Netflix. It's just not work even a matinee price.
