I loved the movie. It only touched the surface on a lot of the issues that were described in depth in the book but I believe that was due to time restraints. If you read the book first, you already know the characters and their issues. I thought it stayed true to the book. I liked being able to see behind the scenes of the games keepers and President Snow. Read the book then see the movie
