Everyone in my family has read all 3 books and my son has read them each several times . We have been anxiously awaitng this premiere.That being said he was a little upset at the movie not showing the pain, agony, thirst, hungar etc. during the games among other things. I explained the screenplay writer's challange to put into 2+hour movie a book that takes place over weeks. No movie ever does justice to the novel. All in all the movie was good and I would recommend it. This is a teen movie and book , my opinion not for children under 13.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
