Successful Movie Adaptation of a Book

The movie successfully captured the intricacies of a book so full of detail. While it's true that not everything transferred from book to film (or the film would be forever-long), it was a successful attempt at capturing most everything critical. I was disappointed to see that so little time was spent on establishing the severity of starvation and exhaustion, and also the excess and general ignorance of the capitol populace, which I think will be crucial to the following two films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
