Will this ever end?!

Not a fan of this movie. It seems to go on and on and on! The plot of the story itself is very good (most likely because the BOOK is better than the movie), but the execution of the story is done only fairly well. There were times I felt I was watching an updated Flash Gordon movie. John Carter lacked the personality to really draw you in and care about him. Princess Dehja was very wishy-washy (I'll do anything to save my people----except marry that mean man, that is!?!). I didn't care what happened to any of them by the end of the movie. I think the only truly interesting aspect of the movie were the Tharks---maybe the movie should have been about them instead!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
