As a lover of the paranormal, I'm very familiar with the works of Ed and Lorraine Warren. I admire and respect what they have done in their field. This movie is entertaining.. and does deliver some good surprise scares. However, I am one that believes Hollywood overdoes most horror movies these days with their special effects. Some haunting images are better left to the imagination to haunt you later .. But overall, I liked the actors and thought they did a great job with this movie. Worth a trip to the theater.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

It Will Leave You Hungry For The Sequel

All in all the screenplay was adapted quite well. The movie left out some character development, but that's the problem with almost any great book that's made into a movie...just not enough time. At first I was leary of some of the casting choices, but all the actors did an outstanding job. Jennifer Lawrence deserves an award for how she portrayed Katniss. Can't wait for the sequel!
