I thought this movie was great! It had great special effects, and the story was actually good. While some newbies might not get the references to SHIELD, overall the story is explained well enough to know how Thor came to be a protector of mankind.
I didn't see the 3-D version, but I will buy this in disc when it is released.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Two Words...

AWE SOME!!! Iron Man is THE movie of the year so far...at least until The Incredible Hulk comes out on June 13... The story line for Iron Man was very well done as even I didn't know that was how Iron Man got started.
Robert Downey, Jr. is perfect as Tony Stark! Some of the "cheesy" lines you usually see in movies just came off as hilarious here!! And when the action started, I was even more impressed than I thought I would be.
I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out, and I might even have to make an extra trip or two to the big screen to see this one again, and again, and again.......
Yes, I recommend this movie.
