I'm very disappointed that the movie is nothing like the book. Nonetheless, I think the movie stands pretty well on its own. Yes, it's another zombie movie, but its got a few new tricks. I was able to connect with at least one of the characters at all times(unfortunately it was rarely Brad Pitt's), and that's all I really need to get into a movie.
