My girlfriend and I went to see this on valentines day because we enjoy action/horror flicks, however, this movie is not appropriate for valentines.
It was an excellent movie, but it was really more of a tearjerker than anything. There was alot of violence, in part from the plane crash, in part from the wolves, and a little from the survivors. It is a great movie reflecting the stark realities of living in a harsh environment and still keeping the will to survive, and even goes into the depths of what it would take to make a man lose his will to live on.
I would say that if you are a fan of books, especially dark intense (I found myself all tensed up several times throughout the movie) books, this is a worthwhile movie. If you just want to be entertained, this movie is too deep for you.
