Oz the Great and Powerful is a great film. The similarities to its inspiration are well taken. The BW opening and transition to color is spectacular. While you come to find the Oz isn't the most trusted guy around he develops into quite a hero. The witches however were the best. Mila Kunis was spellbinding. Her transition to the "Evil" Witch of the West was very well done, but her beauty cannot be hidden behind a green complexion and a nose that would make most surgeons itch.
Overall Oz was a lot of fun. the colors and action were astounding. I will recommend this to anyone seeking an escape from reality. Sitting in the the comfort of the LUX seating tops off a great evening out.

A hard story to tell well in a film, but Peter Jackson captures the feeling and details so well. Any fan of the Hobbit will enjoy this movie.

Daniel Day Lewis was exceptional as was Tommy Lee Jones. This is an incredible movie that should be seen by anyone who has any interest in American history. The acting was superb and the setting very real.
Like watching Titanic, you know the ending, but its this incredible story that is so well told that makes this a must see.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

SkyFall was an excellent blend of Bond now and then. This movie brought many points, persons and objects together in a way that only someone who has watched 007 since childhood could appreciate. Bad guys are always really bad and this story left nothing to chance. As always the settings were stunning and the action was thrilling.
A really good film.
