Personally I was a bit disappointed in the cast. Cruise brought the same character but the others were too diminutive or down right silly (Simon Pegg). The movie itself, the plot, the twists and turns and the finale were very riveting. I just felt like it could have used a bit more editing and fine tuning. However, the IMAX experience is unequalled when it comes to action movies. I would still recommend this movie on the basis of the inventive "technical" gadgets even if they are fictional. The scene where Cruise free climbs outside the building was the most incredible stunt I've ever seen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
