My god. This movie was AWFUL! I'm completely serious. If this movie some how avoids being on the top 10 worst films of 2012 of any critic, meaning there are 10 movies worse than this, I will have myself committed. Nothing works in this movie. Kristen Stewart never changes expressions, the villain is annoyingly over the top, and it takes itself too darn seriously. I knew going into this it was going to be dumb, but I thought it was going to be ridiculously stupid not depressingly stupid. Exactly like the Twilight books. The only actor who puts in a decent performance is Chris Hemsworth, but the writing was still crap. And that was the biggest problem; the writing. It is boring, uninspired garbage that brings shame to everyone involved. And the entire Dark forrest is just padding. Then again, with out it, the movie would be only 45 minutes long, with credits. I give the cinematographer some credit, the camera was the best part. So, in conclusion, I hate this movie and I hope in burns.

This was a rather good movie. I went in expecting trash and for this movie to completely destroy all expectations I had for it speaks louder than words. The story is decent if not really original but I still like it and I do recommend it.

Cubicturtle
This movie is incredible!!! I went in expecting something fun, but man this sucker was the total opposite. Normally thats a bad thing, but it works to the film's advantage. The gurrila style cinematography and lack of music was all just helping atmosphere. Chronicle is now on my top 10 favorite movies list. This is a must see for anyone interested in film.
