The movie made you feel as if you had gone back in time with the exception of the rap music in one scene. However, I thought the mix of music types was extremely creative because having several types of music in the movie made it appealing to all audiences. Although there was not rap music during that time frame, I thought the use of it was an attempt to connect to the emotions of the younger audience by blending just enough of it in the movie so they could relate more w/ the characters through the music. Loved the way they didn't miss a detail and did a great job keeping in line w/ the book. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the movie (went w/ my husband & 3 daughters who are 13, 16, & 25 and they all loved it!) Would highly recommend!
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
