Cheers and tears

Although I do not like war movies, I found "Red Tails" exciting and well-acted. The flight scenes were extremely realistic. It's entirely in the moment, with no flashbacks, almost no meniton of memories. Surprisingly (to me), I really got into it. By the end of the movie, the packed theatre in which I watched it had burst into applause at least twice. I left the movie with a tear in my eye. What more can one ask? Cheers and tears! If that's not a great movie, what is?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
