Of course the main attraction here is Meryl Streep. She is the movie, but as others have said, it's not a very good story. Given the incredible amount of material from such a rich life, the focus on her dotage seems odd, but it certainly gave Meryl and the make-up artist a chance to show us their collective talent. And it's a good reminder that most of us will probably end up "washing out a tea cup" even though we've made a contribution, but Thatcher's strength and courage should have been more of the focus. It was interesting to me that I'd never heard her maiden name before seeing this film, yet her father was so influential in her life. Also, PG-13 is a ridiculous rating....this movie is on par with the evening news, but it won't hold a child's interest - only Meryl & Jim Broadbent held mine.
