Any fan of Sherlock Holmes will love this sequil! Why? Because it contains many of the same elements as the original short stories that Conan Doyle published in the Strand.
Wonderful action from start to finish, constant effects and while the scripting was weak, the visuals more than made up for it.
At two hours and 8 minutes, I could not believe the flic was that long, that is just how fast it moved.
The downside, the verbage was in spots hard to understand and the role of Irina was undeveloped. In any event the play on the falls was great and I cannot wait for #3
Yes, I recommend this movie.

If you are into mindless Action Movies

If the concept of Special Effects and action have evolved over the years, then MI is the epitomy of the concept.
Don't look for plot, don't look for story line and above all don't look for a credible story.
DO GO SEE THIS MOVIE, if you are into incredible action, breath taking special effects and thrills galore.
There are stunts that Cruise performs (according to the press he personally did them) that are unbelievable.
The scene in Dubai is perhaps the most breath taking I have ever witnessed as well as those in Mumbai.
Oh the character hint, the billionaire is played by the same fellow who played the game show host in Slum Dog Millionaire.
Would I go see the movie again? Yes, if for no other reason that the super fast pace and non-stop action probably caused me to miss some key elements.
Clearly if SX are an Academy Award category, this is the winner. If you aren't looking for a cure for cancer or how the world was created, and just looking for a fun 2 hrs go see MI Ghost Protocol today.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
