"THE ARTIST" was about old Hollywood during the silent film conversion period to sound and it was riveting, entertaining, cleverly casted and directed (kudos to the casting director who ironically casted academy award winners and heavy weights in minor supporting roles like James Cromwell, Malcolm McDowell, and John Goodman, and the director who mind f**ks you with sound), prolific, critically acclaimed, and a MUST SEE. Don't be surprised if you see this one shining at the Golden Globes or Oscars!
