Long. Excellent photography. Did a good job with the tiny, VERY predictable story line. Not up to the standard I would have expected in a Spielberg movie. Because of the war scenes, which were very real, I would not take small children. I would tell people to watch it just because it is War Horse, not because it was so fantastic. It will be a blockbuster "just because"...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
