For the most part, this movie was good. Not great, just good. Too much was left out that, imo, is crucial to the integreity of the storyline. However, the level of the performances jumped skyhigh, especially Gambon's Dumbledore. For me, he finally became Albus Dumbledore in this film and not just a substitute for Richard Harris. Also, Alan Rickman was able to bring out more of the depth of Snape's character (and a small bit of sympathy from those who have read the 7th book and know what's to come).
This film was great fun and, I think, better than the first 'Night At The Museum'. I loved all of the pop culture references, especially the homage to the fight scene from '300'. And the huge balloon animal was just precious!
