I read the books and enjoyed them, but not obsessively. Everyone who has ever read books made into movies wants the chance to at least see how they make it into a movie.
I was extremely disappointed. I know all movies are different from the books, which is not my complaint. My complaint is the cheesy music and drawn out "romantic" moments, which were not only unnecessary, but delivered terribly. Definitely not worth the price of a movie ticket.
