I'm more of a fan of the newer incarnations of the tv show than any of the original Star Trek movies or show...HOWEVER, this was very well written, with impressive FX, a cast that not only physically resembled the characters that we have already come to know and love, but had the opportunity to take on thier characteristics....this was a PHOENOMINAL Star Trek Movie....please don't let any of my spelling errors discourage you -- Impressive, is truly not enough to describe what a great addition to the Star Trek universe this movie is. Kudos to J.J. Abrams and the writting and production team.
I thought Zohan was very humorous, but it did not feel like the Adam Sandler flicks I'm used to. I don't mean that it was SERIOUS like "Punch Drunk Love", "Spanglish" or "Rain on Me(?)". Quite the contrary. But as a fan of "The Wedding Singer" and "50 First Dates", I thought that Zohan had a lot more penile promotion and bump and grind than any of Adam's other films. I don't think it is too appropriate for kids, as there is a lot of inference made that only adults should be able to understand (like the walls in the salon shaking and the old ladies with the smiles on thier faces, etc). Other than that, I liked the movie and thought it was funny.
