cleverly written, totally hilarious look inside the horrors of childrearing. A little too much of a Hollywood ending but our guess is there was more than one ending and this was the studio's choice. Does not detract from the overall quality of this excellent film
Yes, I recommend this movie.

You can tell this was once a play. The verbal sparring is intense, the sets are beautiful but few. All four principals (I'm including Jung's wife, she's so integral and superbly played by Sarah Gadon) I like a big talker like this. It's obvious in the era before TV debate and sharing ideas were the order of the day. The tug of war as these two doctors sparred over treatment is brilliantly scripted. Not a film to go to if you need explosions,
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Agonizingly tense waiting for the meltdown that you know is coming. No one gets out unscathed. Charlize Theron delivers like in Monster. Highly recommended if you don't mind squirming in your seat
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We loved this movie. With its slow deliberate pace and incredible silences. Ryan Gosling is great as is Carey Mulligan. More is said in their silences than in the very spare dialog. Long, quiet moments that would be squirmingly uncomfortable in the hands of anyone else are well acted by these two young pros. The movie builds to a slow unalterable climax. A nod should go to Albert Brooks and Bryan Cranston, who both deliver very memorable performances.
