I was impressed by the movie's ability to cover all the relevant points of the book in the 2 hours on screen. I personally thought it was better than either Twilight or New Moon. My only disappointment was the absence of the last chapter on Jake. I am glad I saw it and equally glad I had read the book before to fill in missing details as needed. I would definately recommend the movie.

I don't think I can offer anything better than what has already been said about this film, but still had to leave a review. I am going to see this one again so my husband can see it. I took my grandson and am so impressed that I am insisting my husband see this too. I will happily watch this one again to possibly see some of the detail I missed the first time. This one is for the history books!! Unbelieveable 3-D.. I was there in it with the characters. AWESOME!!

I don't think you'd be disappointed. I would have rated excellent, but I don't hand out "excellent" easily. Movie kept my interest and my 10 yr old grandson as well. Will Smith, as usual, does a great job bringing his character to life. Nice development of the plot! Not too predictable and maintained interest; both emotionally and entertainingly. I would recommend this movie and I don't go to see movies often as I wait for the DVD. This one was worth the time and money.
