The movie was tedious. I had the feeling that the actors were acting. I was not drawn into the film. The opening five minutes totally lacked credibility and cast a pall on the movie. It was frequently too " Hollywood". I had the impression that Spielberg was attempting to deliver a liberal message. I think the Lincoln character was played terribly. Only once in the movie did he exhibit command presemce. I don't believe that Mary Lincoln was present in congress throughout the debate.

No, I do not recommend this movie.
