Finally! One worth seeing....

I'm not a huge fan of the gory, plotless flicks like Final Destination and Saw, etc., so I was very happy to see a movie that was suspenseful, kept you on your toes and felt very realistic. It was even pretty funny in the beginning. Definitely a quality movie worth paying the bucks to see it. The ending was great, too. Go see it if you can!

Good Movie, But What I Expected....

I love the books and knew that it wouldn't be exactly like the book. I'd also seen enough clips and previews to know that, with their low budget, the special effects would leave something to be desired. I got exactly what I expected. Overall I thought the movie was pretty good. Rob looked gorgeous and the others were great. There were only a few moments where the cheesiness was overwhelming, but that was due more to the dialogue than the actors' performances. Some things were changed from the book, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The sparkle wasn't as bad as I imagined it might be, but the jumping/flying was kind of lame. Those who have not read the books may not enjoy it as much, but overall I'd definitely recommend it.
