The movie picked up once Morgan Freeman showed up but prior to that it was dragging and predictable. Real Hollywood yawner. During the credits the REAL kids were shown during the playing of the "actual" footage and appeared to be older then their on screen actors. If Hollywood would have used age appropriate actors some of the dialog would have made since. Nonetheless it is a good story and a good family movie just seemed DVD quality instead of movie theater quality.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
