I absolutely love the original Footloose and have easily seen it 50 times if not more. I was worried that the remake would be cheesy and not nearly as good but was proved wrong. The remake was BETTER than the first! They updated many things to modern day but still managed to maintain the essence of the original. The cast was fantastic and the dancing was SOOOO great! I can't wait to see it again and buy it when it comes out on DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
