Definitely will be in my top ten list for the year, and it's already my favorite sci-fi film since 'Abre Los Ojos,' (which was remade as the poor 'Vanilla Sky'). The film defines Nolan as the first truly 21st Century filmmaker who has successfully found a means to take arthouse sensibilities and blend them into mainstream motion pictures on an epic scale, with an immediacy that reflects the techonological world we live in today and will likely face tomorrow. Hardly a false note, and while some may nitpick at minor details in order to look for flaws in the construction, the script seems so refined by the low standards we see in the typical Hollywood dumbed-down fare, the perfomances so spot-on, and the visual direction so innovative and awe-inspiring, that this film will welcome multiple repeat viewings, as the audience works to pick up the most minute details to support their view of exactly what the whole endeavor truly means.
